Why We Exist

We founded Gallatin because the credibility of our deterrence depends on modernizing defense logistics—a critical vulnerability that, if left unaddressed, jeopardizes our ability to project power against emergent threats. While commercial supply chains have been transformed by predictive analytics and AI, defense logistics remains dependent on outdated manual processes that cannot meet the speed, complexity, and scale demanded by modern conflicts.

Founding Team

Woody Glier

CEO

Woody has spent 15 years in the Enterprise/AI software industry. He spent the past 2 years building the Federal team at Scale AI and 7 years at Palantir in a variety of product and delivery roles.

Earlier in his career he incubated and became the first employee at Virtustream, a cloud services business acquired for $1.2b by EMC.

Daniel Buchmueller

CTO

Daniel is a logistics pioneer and an experienced engineering leader, starting his career as a Software Engineer at Microsoft and has built teams as co-founder of Amazon Prime Air, CTO at Volansi, VP & Head of Drone Cargo at Airbus, SVP of Engineering at Vay and Vast Space.

He is named as an inventor on 75+ patents.

Brian Ballard

CPO

Brian has led product development in defense and commercial endeavors for data fusion including a decade with the Department of Defense. He has deep experience supporting and embedding with forward deployed task forces.

He previously founded Upskill, acquired by TeamViewer, working on advanced solutions for logistics, maintenance, and manufacturing for F500 companies and the DoD.
